Alan Lamont “Hoot” Dattage born May 5, 1947 and raised in Providence, Utah. He married Dorothy Rae Allen June 30, 1967 in Elko, Nevada.
Alan survived a serious Harley motorcycle accident in Colorado in a mudslide. He fought five different cancers for six years, but could not fight covid viral pneumonia. He passed away September 22, 2021.
He fought a good fight. Alan lived life to the fullest. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints. He was in the National Guard, Cache County Search and Rescue, a construction worker, a lineman for western union, a western electric installer, Geo in the Uintah Basin life vantage with family and friends flowed the race circuit with the boy 22, shots with family and friends and a massage therapist.
He loved taking family trips to the dunes, hunting, camping, and fishing. He loved family time and being with his friends.
Alan is the father of 2 sons and 1 daughter, a grandfather to 9 grandkids, a great-grandfather to 10.
He loved them all we had many dogs throughout life but the one that really stole his heart was Mia a boxer she was his partner to the end. He has left us all with many memories. He was a strong-willed man. He made all our lives better and he will be truly missed.
