October 12, 1929 ~ June 25, 2014 Albert Eugene "Schoenie" Schoenberger, age 84, passed away at the Uintah Care Center with his family at his side. He was born to Carl and Beatrice McCormick Schoenberger on October 12, 1929 in Durango, Colorado. He married his sweetheart Billie Jean Berensen on June 10, 1950. Albert worked for Duane Hall Trucking and Stacy Hall Trucking for many years as he called it "Water Hauling Heaven". He also spent his past time woodcarving, watching Television, and under the hood of a vehicle working as a "Mechanic". Albert was a hard worker dedicating his time to his work. His religious belief was Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Billie Jean; sons, Jim Schoenberger of Litttleton, Colorado, Carl Schoenberger of Vernal, UT; daughters, Theresa Clark of Roosevelt, UT, and Bernadette Harrison of Vernal, UT; brothers, George Schoenberger; sister, Anna Kontas; 13 grandchildren and 28 Great grandchildren, 6 Great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Carl Schoenberger, Mary Ellen Veteri, Alice Beacco, & Francis Snyder. Memorial services will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Friends and family may call at the mortuary one hour prior to services to greet the family.
