Arthur Stone

Arthur Pringle Stone, age 96, passed away 11 March 2014 in Roosevelt, Utah. He had lived most of his life in Vernal. He was born 6 March 1918 in Winterquarters, Utah to Fredrick James and Jennie Pringle Stone. He married Eunice Caldwell in Duchesne, Utah and was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; she preceded him in death in September 2000. Arthur worked as an auto Mechanic for different Auto dealers in the Vernal area throughout his life. He loved the outdoors, fishing with his old friends Leo Cutshaw and Bob Morrison. He will be missed by loved ones and his many friends. He is survived by his 5 children, Larry (Karin) Stone of Vernal, Fred (Linda) Stone of West Valley City, John (Valerie) Stone, Stevenson, Washington, JoAnn (Paul) Dockery of Roosevelt; Patricia (Doug) Villbaum of Houston, TX, 13 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 3pm at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Friends may call Saturday at 2 pm. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park with Military Honors from the American Legion and Ut. Army national Guard services entrusted to the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary
