Bart Leon Vernon

Bart Leon Vernon age, 47, died March 7, 2014 in Layton, Utah. He was born December 27, 1966 to Charles and Jane Miles Vernon in Ogden, Bart graduated in 1985 from Layton High school and married Shelly Roylance August of 1988 they later divorced, he married Amy Dickson June 1993. He worked as a welder and fabricator for Peterson Inc., All Metals Fabrication, NAPTech Inc. and NATCO. Bart enjoyed the outdoors Hunting, Camping and Fishing. He had a great love for coaching where he shaped many young boys lives in Davis, Uintah and Weber Counties. He was assistant baseball coach with Layton and Uintah High school's Baseball Teams. Bart spent countless hours coaching youth football, basketball and baseball,. He coached many kids that excelled and played at the next level. And was always proud of his kids and with their dedication, effort and success. He is survived by his wife Amy children: Cole, Jessica, Caleb, Kasey and Emma Parents: Charles and Jane Vernon: Siblings; Greg C. (Annette C.) Vernon, G. Dean (Dana D.) Vernon all of Layton, Utah. Funeral services will be held Monday March 17, 2014 at 11 am at the Ashley1st Ward LDS Chapel (3040 North Vernal Avenue Hwy 191) Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 pm at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary and Monday 9:45-10:45 at the church Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park There will also be a memorial service March 21, 2014 at 7- 8:30 pm at the Valley View LDS Stake Center (1589 East Gentile St.) in Layton, Utah
