She worked many jobs, including grocery store clerk and later owned her own daycare. She loved going to the temple and dedicated a large part of her time later in life to temple work. Betty was an amazing cook with the ability to turn just about anything into a great meal. She perfected the art of biscuit making but couldn't make a pancake to save her life. She loved to read, travel and listen to Marty Robbins. She loved spending time with family and was always talking about the annual trips she would take with her sisters. Betty loved to work on genealogy and was interested in history. She made friends easily and never met a stranger.
