May 17, 1969 ~ October 11, 2014 Brett Wayne Weldon, 45, returned to his Heavenly Father on October 11, 2014. On May 17, 1969, Brett was born to George and Judy Weldon in Vernal, Utah. He loved sports from an early age playing football, basketball, and baseball and lettering in all three sports at Uintah High School. Also, he loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. On September 11, 1993, Brett married the love of his life, NyRee Massey. They were blessed with two children, Dylan Wayne (16) and Ashton Jade (13). Brett loved his children dearly and especially loved cheering them on in sports. He became a hockey enthusiast when Dylan showed an interest in and a talent for the sport. Ashton was his shadow following him everywhere always wanting to share her dad's adventures. People thought that the thing Brett loved best was to tease people: family, friends, and even strangers, but besides his family, his next love was animals. Horses and horse racing was one of his passions; he could tell you the lineage and racing record of any quarter horse on the track. He also loved dogs especially yellow labs; one always resided in his kennel. For the past 25 years, Brett worked for George T. Weldon Construction as a superintendent. Brett is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry AuMiller and Ethel Dickson AuMiller. He is survived by his wife, NyRee Weldon; children, Dylan Wayne Weldon and Ashton Jade Weldon; his parents, George and Judy Weldon; and his brother, Mike (Carrie) Weldon.
