Cami Coonis Lance

Cami Kaye Lance Coonis, loving mother, sister, and friend. On December 4th, 2012, another free spirit was released from her earthly bonds, and taken to fly free and watch down on us from above. She was greeted with loving arms by her mother Linda Rae Bates Morlan, grandparents Lena and Wilbur Bates and Roy and Carol Coonis. She was born on June 5, 1969 in Roosevelt, Utah. The greatest time in Camis life was December 30th, 1989 when she gave birth to her son Clint Andersen. He has always been her pride and joy, and the sparkle in her eye. Anyone that knew her knew Clint before they left. She always gave of herself. She touched hundreds of lives and helped them to sobriety and self-worth while living in Lubbock Texas and Vernal Utah. She graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She loved the outdoors where she would walk her dogs for hours. She loved animals and if she could, she would have had 2 of each animal. She enjoyed camping and was always the life of any party. She could warm your heart with a smile and some witty humor. Next to her son, she cherished the time she had with her nieces and nephews. Whether it was taking them to McDonalds or for chili at Wendys, she loved to play with them and just sit and talk. Cami is survived by her son; Clinton, siblings; David (Vickie) Young, Robbie (Angie) Coonis, Ray (Audra) Morlan, Uncle Ron and Aunt Florence Muir, Aunt Thalia Clark, and her nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held, Friday, December 7, 2012; 10:00 a.m. at the Strawberry Cemetery near Duchesne Utah. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
