Carl J. Winward

Carl Jay Winward, age 82 of Vernal, Utah passed away on May 14, 2012 at the Uintah Care Center in Vernal. Jay was born September 29, 1929 in Vernal, Utah to Joseph Hicks and Lizzie Winward. He loved to fish and hunt. He spent his life enjoying and supporting his family. He was employed by Deseret Industries. He will be missed by all who knew him. Jay is survived by his nephew; Keith Campbell of Vernal. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings; William Winward, Harold Winward, Kenneth Winward, Claudia Winward and Thelma Winward Campbell. Graveside services for Jay were held Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vernal Memorial Park with a viewing 1 hour prior to services at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Services were entrusted to the care of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
