Cleo Lee Fox, age 91, passed away quietly at his daughters home in Vernal, Utah surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 9, 1921 in Idaho to James and Annie Hall Fox. He attended school in Salt Lake City at Horseman Jr. High School before serving with the Reserve corps for one year. He married Marie Dewar Fox on September 17, 1953 in Elko, Nevada. Together they had 2 daughters; Maria Lee (Joe) Davis and Cheryl Lynn (Dan) Thomson. Lee worked as a truck driver for CR England and as an engineer for the railroad where he transported many soldiers during the war. He is survived by his daughters, 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers; Erwin, Casper, and Tommy Fox. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary with a viewing 1 hour prior to services. Burial was in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post 124 and 11. Services were entrusted to the care of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
