Cloyd Ralph Hatch, age 74, died at home on September 25, 2018. He was born at home in Vernal, Utah on February 10, 1944 to Ralph and Blanche Pearl Richens Hatch. He graduated from Uintah High School in 1962. He married Ruth Ann Haxton on June 30, 1962. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They made their home in Vernal, and then moved to North Dakota to work on the underground missile sites that were being built there. Cloyd also worked in the oilfield and then drove truck. He drove truck locally abd cross country. He and Ruth had four children; Mart, Kerry, Pennie, and Cloyd Jr.
Cloyd is survived by his wife; Ruth Ann Hatch, sons; Kerry Hatch, and Cloyd Jr. (Kari) Hatch, daughter; Pennie (Ryan) Jackson, all of Vernal, and brother; Bennor (Gennie) Hatch of Sandy, Utah.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Marty Hatch, sister Carma Woodard, and brother Clifford Hatch.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Glines 1st ward LDS chapel. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 at the Blackburn Mortuary and 1 hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the care of the Blackburn and Sons Mortuary.
