Connon passed away on March 6, 2025 after a sudden and quick battle with pancreatitis. He was born in Ogden, UT and raised in Federal Way, WA. He served a mission in the Anaheim, California mission and returned and started working for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a temple engineer. He married Toni Walker on Feb 4, 1989 and enjoyed a wonderful 36 years together. He traveled doing work in different temples around the world including Germany, Switzerland, and Japan before settling down just in time for the Vernal temple to be dedicated in 1997. He loved working in the temple and worked for the church his entire career, over 40 years.
Connon started out as city folk, but fully embraced Vernal and all that the country life has to offer. He loved his little hobby farm and showing it off to others.
Connon is survived by his mother Millie Keirnes Evans, his wife Toni, and his five children: Courtney (Josh) Richards, Walker (Hannah) Evans, Hunter (Rebekah) Evans, Bridger (Brooke) Evans, and Sawyer (Elle) Evans, and his two grandsons. He loved his family and spending time with them in any way he could. He dedicated his life to being a good husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
