Coulson Alan Rich, age 39 of Vernal, Utah passed away on June 8, 2013 in Vernal. He was born on May 22, 1974 in Vernal to Alan and Glenda McGovern Rich. He grew up in Vernal and graduated from Uintah High School in 1992. He married Cherrie Anderson in 1993. Together they had two sons; Charles Coulson Rich, age 13, and Cordale Jeremiah Rich, age 12. He and Cherrie later divorced. Coulson worked at Anadarko for the last 17 years as a compressor mechanic, winning many awards for his work and dedication. He served as past president of the Sweetwater Trap Club. He coached his boys baseball teams and enjoyed taking pack trips with them. Coulson loved his family very much. He was a hard worker, a great dad, and a true friend. He is loved by all and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents, Glenda and Alan, his sons; Charles Coulson and Cordale Jeremiah, sister; Wesalyn Rich Thompson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maeser 3rd Ward LDS chapel with visitations Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary and 1 hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the care and direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
