David E. Black was born February 2, 1957, to Delbert E. Black and Geraldine Black. He died December 6, 2023 unexpectedly in his home. He was 66 years old. David grew up in Kaysville, Utah and graduated from Davis High School in 1976. He graduated from Weber State College with a degree in Counseling. He loved scuba diving, fishing, camping and art. He was a member of the LDS Church.
David was very talented with his art work and shared his art among his family. It will all be treasured. He found personal joy in Counseling troubled kids and helping those with alcohol and drug addictions.
Above all, David loved his children, and grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his children Nikki (James) Ingram, Jennie (Chris) Valdez, Ashli (Colby) Talbot, Heidi Black, DJ (Cydney) Black, Matthew Black, 9 Grandchildren, sister Susan Billings, Brothers Dan (Sophia) Bird, and Jim (Denise) Bird and his mother Geraldine Black.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ellie Black, father Delbert Black, and brother Kent Black.
He will truly be missed.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11 AM at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary with a viewing held 1 hour prior to services.
Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park, under the Care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
