David "Dave" Thomas Petrik

David Thomas Petrik (Dave) passed away August 19, 2015 at his home in Vernal, UT. Dave was born on December 31, 1966 to John Thomas Petrik and Ann Johnson in Green River, UT. In 1990 he married Ann Massey of Vernal they had 2 daughters Jordyn and Taylor and later divorced. In 2002 he married Shelley Kay Jenson. Dave attended Salt Lake Community College where he received a degree in Auto body Paint and Repair. He worked in the Salt Lake City, UT area before returning to the Vernal Area to find employment in the oilfield working the last 10 years for Western Well Service. Dave enjoyed being outdoors spending time with his wife and daughters. His family, close friend and co- workers will miss his witty sense of humor that was sometimes mistaken as sarcasm. If you were ever one of the lucky ones to be pranked by Dave it is a memory you will never forget. He is preceded in death by his father John Petrik He is Survived by his mother Ann Petrik Nelson, step father Bruce Nelson, wife Shelley Kay Petrik, daughters Jordyn & Taylor Petrik. Sisters Jonna Sue May (Rick), Dosena Adams, and Christine Knowles. Nieces and Nephews, Rocky & Brooke May, Aaron May, Kailey Adams, Kelsey Adams and Kira Monceaux. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 22, 2015, @ 3:00 pm, at the Maser 5th Ward Chapel (2745 West 1000 North). Family and friends may call at the Chapel from 1:45-2:45 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Rockpoint Cemetery.
