Dean Southam

Dean H. Southam passed away September 7, 2023 at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born August 1, 1962 in Vernal, UT to Vicke Ellsworth and Lavor H. Southam.

Dean worked as a pipefitter for many years. He loved fishing, camping, hanging out at the cabin and riding 4-wheelers.

Dean married Tereasa Southam she later passed away.

He married Elaine A. Southam on August 1, 2013.

Dean is survived by his wife Elaine A. Southam, children; Nakita (Joel) Stucki, Max (Kassy) Westerwelle, Rex (Brandi) Westerwelle all of Carlin, NV., 10 grandchildren, father, Lavor Southam, sister, Janna Curry (Paul), Nieces; Nichole Curry, Jennifer Curry, Leisha Thomas, (Shane), nephew, Shane Curry (Jessica).

He is preceded in death by; his Mother Vicke Southam, first wife; Tereasa Southam, children; Gary Lee Southam, Terry Lynn Southam.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 at 2 PM at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary with a visitation 1 hour prior to service.

Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
