Don Eugene Gardiner

Don Eugene Gardiner, loving husband, sweetheart, best friend, father, and grandfather. Don Eugene Gardiner was called home to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 31st 2016. He was an active dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Father Day Saints, and amazing family man and husband. Don was born March 4th 1927 in Vernal, Utah, the third son of William Joseph Gardiner & Violet Eliza Robbins. Brother's Gail William & Chester John Gardiner. Reva Violet Chivers, Donna Roza, Karen, Ferris Lee Stack, Connie Rae Mitchell. Don met his sweetheart on the summer of 1947. Two months later they were married in a double wedding with his childhood friends Wayne and Angus on September 20th 1947. Together they had 5 children. Tommy Eugene, Dennis Ray, Evelyn Violet, Catheryn Sue, and Lisa Ann. He held many high positions in the church including : Bishop and Stake Patriarch, and mission president at gusher. Don is survived by 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Thank you to all who have helped the family in this time. Graveside service will be Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Vernal Memorial Park. Military honors provided by American Legion and UtahNational Guard.
