Doris Aleene Williams Mecham

Our Beloved Mother, Sister and Grandmother, Doris Aleene Williams Mecham, left her Earthly Home on January 25, 2016 to be reunited with her heavenly Father and loved ones. Doris was born October 13, 1924 in Upalco, Utah to Samuel and Agnes Murphy Williams. Doris attended Stevens Henager Business Collage and entered the business program. Doris served many years in the accounting offices of Galbreath And Green, ASC in Roosevelt, Utah, and the Uintah County Courthouse. Doris Married Bill Watson and Later divorced. She had one son Blaine R. Watson who was the light of her life. Doris Married Floyd Mecham on March 24,1968 at the Home of her parent's, Samuel and Agnes Williams in Vernal. With their union she was blessed with 5 additional children of Floyd's Carol Ann, Frank, Jack, Melanie, and Tami. They moved to the Wasatach Front and settled in South Jordan Utah where they lived for over 30 year. During their lives there, they were very active in the horse racing community. They loved being around their horses and they also loved to dance. Doris also loved to crochet and embroidery. In 1999 the couple returned to the Uintah Basin where they spent the remainder of their days. Anyone who knew Doris knew what a sweet and kind spirt she had she will be missed greatly. Doris is preceded in Death by her husband, Floyd Mecham of Mountain Home; Parents, Samuel and Agnes Williams of Upalco; sister, Agnes Rae Williams of Upalco; Brother, Shirley (Shirl) Williams of Malad, Idaho; Step-sons, Frank Mecham of Tremonton, Craig Lee (Jack) Mecham of Florida. She is survived by her sister, Zola (Glendon) Hanberg; Son, Blaine (Barbara) Watson, Step-daughters, Carol Ann Heusser of Garland, Utah; Melanie (Steve) Boyer of Libby, Montana, Tami Heuser of Provo, Utah; 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Pallbears, Cory Mecham, Brian Boyer, Jeff Heusser, Stettler Young, Inoke buka, Colby Lindquist Funeral Services for will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. A viewing for family and friends will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to services at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Mt. Home Cemetery, under the care of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary
