Durrell (Roy) Slaugh

Durrell (Roy) Slaugh age 58, passed away at home on November 14, 2014. He was born August 15, 1956 in Vernal, UT. the son of Farrell Slaugh and Goldie Victoria (Vicky) Kimball Slaugh. Roy was raised in the Davis area known as "The Slaugh Homestead". Roy worked in the Oilfield, a saddle maker shop and he worked for 24 years in maintenance at the Western Hotels. He was a member of the Maeser 7th Ward. He enjoyed his guns outdoor survival, skills books and drawing house plans. Roy also helped widows who needed odd jobs done. He did this for years very quietly. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 37 years to Gina Kaye Neilson Slaugh, two sisters, Cliftia P. Johnson and Carma J. Brewer all of Vernal. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maeser Stake Center (2575 West 1000 North). Friends and family may call at the Mortuary Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 and on Tuesday at the Chapel from 10:00-10:45 prior to the services.
