Eddie Carl Price

Eddie Carl Price, 75, of Vernal, husband of Karen Lee Price died Friday February 23, 2018 In Salt Lake City suddenly of a heart attack while doing what he loved. He was born July 12, 1942 in Denison, Texas to Paul and Janice Thomas Price.

Eddie married Karen Lee, August 7, 1965 in Lapoint, Utah.

He has driven big trucks ever since he was 16 years old; he drove over 3 million miles with out a single accident.

Eddie enjoyed seeing the country from the seat of his truck. For several years his truck was selected for the company’s yearly calendar.

He was a member of the LDS Church, and he loved his wife, children and grandchildren.

Eddie is survived by his wife, his three children: Carl Price, Saundra (Paul) Yoder, and Rusty Price; grandchildren: Ashley (Nathan)   Meier, Nathan (McKenna) Yoder, Kacey (Ethan) Price and Devin Price; great grandchildren: Jerzie Meier, Dacen Meier and Gypsie Price; sisters :Barbara Preston, Mary Jane Anderson and Pam Price Yuroko; brothers: Danny Price, Lloyd Hilburn, Gary Dean Price. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, KaryAnn Price.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Thomson Blackburn Vernal Mortuary viewings Tuesday from 6-8 and Wednesday one hour prior to the services all at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Lapoint Cemetery, under the care and direction of the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary & Cremation Care.
