Elmer Sperry

Elmer E. Sperry, age 86, of Vernal died at his home October 21, 2015 He was born March 8, 1929 in Proctor, Colorado to Arnold and Mary Wagner Sperry Elmer Married his sweetheart Evelyn Lucille Worchester December 19, 1952. He worked in the Oilfield but enjoyed farming with his good friend John Gardiner, restoring old cars and tractors. He loved spending time with his wife in the garden and being with his children and grandchildren. Elmer is survived by his five daughters: Linda E. (Bill) May, Marsha K. Searle, Reba J. (Brian) Wilkins, Barbara (Brett) Gardiner Saundra D. Bromley. Many grand and great grandchildren Brothers: Everett, Roy, Keith, Jamie and Donny. Sisters: Betty, Bernice, Kathy and Judy. He is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn parents, son in law Richard Bromley. Funeral services were held the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary, Monday, October 26, 2015 at 11:00 am. A viewing was held Sunday from 5-7 pm and Monday from 10:00- 11:00 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park. Under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
