Elva Delia Kidd Bennett, born July 11, 1919 to Thomas E. and Mary L. Kidd in Vernal, Utah, died May 12, 2013 at the Uintah Care Center in Vernal. Elva was raised with 9 of her 11 siblings in Vernal, Utah until she married Dick Bennett on September 24, 1938. Dick and Elva moved to Manila, Utah and raised their family there. She had three children; Marion (Earl) Kroupa, Clyde Bennett, and Joan (Alex) Radosevich. Elva worked at the Manila Post Office for 35 years. She was a very hard worker. She also ironed clothes for people, owned a store in Manila and rental cabins at Sheep Creek Ranch. She was an avid gardener and loved and craft, especially sewing and crocheting. She is survived by her daughter; Joan Radosevich, son-in-laws; Alex Radosevich, and Earl Kroupa, sisters; Mavis Powell, Doreen Norman, and Joy Short, and brother; Dee Kidd, eight grandchildren; Dale (Lisa) Kroupa, Leanna (Steve) Dernovich, Delbert (Heather) Kroupa, Jay (Lynette) Kroupa, Mike Radosevich, Natalie Radosevich, Roxanne (Terry) Reid and Zane (Kristi) Radosevich, sisteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years; Dick Bennett, her son; Clyde and daughter Marion, brothers; Maron, Russell, Maurice and Arnold, sisters; Lula Twitchell, Loris Fae Fowler, and Kay Allred. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary with a viewing 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Manila City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. under the care and direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
