Estella Jenkins Richens

Estella J. Richens, Age 81, Born April 26, 1932 to Parents Dee and Clara Jenkins. She passed peacefully at home on March 13th 2014. She married Lorn S. Richens on October 12th 1951 in Vernal Utah. She is the Mother of her and Lorn's two children, Ronald (Omar) Richens and Annette Richens Parslow McKee. Preceded in death were her parents, Dee and Clara, Son Ronald Omar Richens, Son in Law William Bart Parslow... She is survived by Husband Lorn, Daughter Annette and Son in Law Mike McKee, Grand Children: Wes & Laura Richens, Wade and Kristen Richens, Jacinda and Carson Parslow Great Grand Children: Sadie and Issac Richens, Gavyn and Cruz Richens. She is an alumni of Utah State University. She enjoyed a career teaching special education for the Uintah Learning Center in Vernal for 25 years. She loved the farm and all of the opportunities it provided for the family. Her quest for knowledge never ceased. She was a voracious consumer of information and wisdom. She loved to teach, She loved her family and her many friends from all walks of life. She loved living and sharing her life with all of them. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday March 17th 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Maeser Stake Center, 2745 West 1000 North, Vernal Utah. A viewing will be held at the Thompson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary, Monday March 16th 2014 from 6 PM to 8 PM; and on Tuesday at the Church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park. Services have been entrusted to the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
