Forrest Russell McMickell

Forrest Russell McMickell 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Vernal surrounded by his family.

Russell was born October 13, 1956 in Denver, Colorado to Forrest Marion “Frosty” and Eleanor “Tyke’ Doyle McMickell.

He met the Love of his life when just teenagers Brenda Marie Kimbel, she has been by his side ever since.

Russell loved Hunting, Camping Fishing and anything in the outdoors, and always spending time with his family.

He worked in the oilfield until health prevented, he could do anything and was a jack of all trades mastering most.

Russell had a personality that warmed up to everyone and was kind and loving to everyone he met.

When he smiled it was sincere and honest, his greatest love is his family.

Surviving is his wife Brenda, Children Tina McMickell, Forrest Terence (NiCole) McMickell, Jeremy David (Maddie) McMickell

6 grandchildren Brooklyn, Braxten, Parker, Taylyn, Kennedy and Oakley. Sisters Ronda Fisher and Julie McMickell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Deb brother Rob nephew Jamie Joe 

Funeral Services will be held Friday October 11, 2024 at 11 am at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary

Were friends may call Thursday 6-8 pm and Friday 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park
