Our mother Frona (Toni) Lorraine Openshaw Reynolds passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on January 13, 2020. Toni was born January 25, 1930 to Linus Vard and Josephine Olsen Openshaw. She had three sisters and two brothers. She attended school in Vernal until 1947 when she married her life-long sweetheart, Glen S. Reynolds, in the Manti Temple on June 2, 1947. They made their home in Naples, Utah where they raised their 6 children. Toni was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she filled many callings in Relief Society, Primary, and Young Women’s. For 10 years she loved serving in The Vernal, Utah Temple. Toni made many quilts, afghans, pillowcases, and embroidered dish towels for her family and friends. She also canned thousands of jars of fruit and vegetables. She enjoyed working in her yard and flowers up until the very end of her life and had a beautiful yard.
She is survived by her six children: Linda (Keith) Murray, Kenneth (Annette) Reynolds of Vernal, Marilyn Broadbent of Coalville, Utah, JoAnn (Keith) Zipprich of Gusher, Utah, Kirk (Sandi) Reynolds of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Fred (Catherine) Reynolds of Vernal. Her 21 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great grandchildren. Her sister Joy Kay and sisters in-law Kathy Reynolds and Dixie Ault. Brother in-law Ned Reynolds. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 54 years; Glen S. Reynolds. Her son in-law; Joseph Lee Broadbent. Grandchildren; Andrea Joyce Bastian and Kevin Reed Reynolds. Great grandchild, Izzi Marie Howcroft. Her parents and siblings; Vard Openshaw, Chris Anderson, Betty VanWychen, and Kermit Openshaw.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Naples 1st Ward Chapel. (2313 South 1500 East). Viewings will be Sunday evening from 6-8 at Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary and at the Chapel one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park.
