Gale Hyrum Eldredge, age 79 of Vernal, Utah passed away at his home on March 13, 2013. He was born in Vernal on September 18, 1933 to Clyde Allen and Elva Swain Eldredge. Gale served and was honorably discharge from the United States Navy, Air Force and National Guard. He served in the military as an Airman Second Class and Boatswains Mate Seaman. He married Nada Hatch. She passed away August 15, 2009. He lived his life in Vernal and was self-employed as a welder. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved gardening and his children and grandchildren. Gale knew how to work hard and was very business minded. He is survived by his children; Mike (Jamie) Kenney, Clyde (Deah) Eldredge, Cody (Celisa) Eldredge, Eddie (Chrisse) Kenney, Kathleen (Greg) Bowker, Lisa (Phil) Jackson, Linda (Larry) Brokaw, Ronda (Cicel) Bowles, Lori (Craig) Lavy, Randy, siblings; John Clark, Donna Stevens, Glenda Bird, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Nada, and brothers; Larry Eldredge and Veone Clark. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Viewings will be Monday evening from 6-8 and 1 hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park with military honors by the American Legion Post 124 and 11 and the Utah Army National Guard. Services were entrusted to the care of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
