Grayce Mae Dunn, age 88, passed away at the Uintah Care Center in Vernal, Utah on April 9, 2013. She was born July 16, 1924 in Ft. Thompson, South Dakota to Robert and Alma Ruth Wallace Eatherton, the eldest of 7 children. After marrying Pat Dunn in 1946, the couple moved around a lot the first few years, following Pats work as a roughneck. They moved to Butte, Montana in 1956 where they lived until 1962. After living in Gillette, Wyoming, they moved to Vernal in 1971 and thats where they called home. Grace enjoyed her flowers, John Wayne movies, crocheting, cat fishing, and most of all her grandchildren and their children. She is preceded in death by her husband; Pat, son; Don Maas, brother; Albert, and sisters; Lila Gleason, Ellen, Kelley and Lois Duncan. She is survived by her daughters; Alma (Phil) Mayes of Clifton, Colorado, and Sandy (Dan) Allen of Granger, Wyoming, grandchildren; Seandara (Eric) Draney of Vernal, Travis (Cindy) Allen of East Carbon, Utah, Toby Mayes and Jennifer Mayes of Grand Junction, Colorado, 4 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary with a viewing and visitation 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery next to her husband Pat. Services were entrusted to the care of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
