Our Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was wrapped in the arms of Our heavenly father and greeted by family and friends that have went before. Gwen Marie Crow Rasmussen, 70 walked through heavens gates Monday, February 23rd, 2015 From the St George hospital. Gwen was born April 12th, 1944 in Upalco, the oldest of 3 children To Lloyd and Lois Crow, Gwen graduated from Union high school In Roosevelt Ut. The class of 1962 She married Merrill Rasmussen in Salt Lake City on July 26th, 1962. Later solemnized in the Provo Temple on July 26th, 1990.Her family was her life and was the most selfless giving person to anyone who Needed it. She was a very discreet and inspiring person, she liked to decide things for herself. An Individual who was very grand and had an affectionate and harmonious disposition. She gave and asked Nothing in return. Adventure was a big part of her life and considered herself to be part gypsy, she Loved RV camping and camp hosting, she loved being a snowbird in the winter. She drove cars For River runners transport for the last 8 years. The most important thing in her life was her husband, Children, grandchildren, alot of good friends, and her 2 dogs buddy and chancey. She is survived by her husband Merrill, daughters, Teri (Rory) Potter of Vernal, Toni (Brent) Cook Of Roosevelt, Kevin (Nona) Rasmussen of Vernal and John Bigby of Salt Lake City. 13 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, sisters, Kathy (Denny) Hadlock of Neola, Bobbi (Ed) Riege of Show Low, AZ And many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by so many. Her legacy lives on through her family. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11 am at the Vernal 5th ward LDS Chapel (250 North 200 West) Friends and family may call on Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the Chapel.
