H. D. (Buff) Behrman, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, hero and friend, left this world on December 26, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 16, 1933 in Vernal, Utah to Horace S. Behrman and Vergie Pearl Wooley. He married Eva Joy Farnsworth on January 28, 1952 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He was a long time homebuilder and built many of the homes in the Vernal area. He worked at General Motors for 20 years, but his greatest passion was working at the Western Park for the last 12 years helping and meeting many people. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. H. D. is survived by his loving wife of 60 years; Eva Joy, daughters; Carolyn Behrman, Jeannette (Brent) Fuller, Sandy (Beau) Searle, siblings; Donna Rae McKowen, Verl (Joan) Behrman, Lou (Gerald) Clark, Floyd (Hazel) Behrman, Dean Behrman, Sharon (Darrell) Steele, Joyleen Haslem, 14 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Deanne Mazziotti, granddaughter; Breanna Joy Fuller, grandson; Bart Mazziotti, and brother; Veldon Behrman. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vernal 5th Ward LDS Chapel (250 North 200 West). A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary and 1 hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
