Hazel Sizemore Edwards 

Sept. 17, 1927 - March 13, 2021

      Hazel Edwards, 93, a lifelong resident of Rio Blanco County passed away Saturday March 13, 2021. 

      Hazel was born in Meeker, Colorado to parents Oscar and Lulu Sizemore. She was raised with two older brothers Roscoe Sizemore, Roy Sizemore, and younger sister Thelma (Sizemore) Moore 39 miles up the White River at Sizemore’s Resort.

      Hazel is proceeded in death by her parents, husband of 53 years Elton “Scrub” Edwards, son Elton Jr., and 3 siblings. She is survived by her children Linda (Bill) Webster, Ellen Boudreaux (Simon) deceased, Phil (Scarlett) Edwards, Patty Edwards and Paul (Cyndi’s) Edwards, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren with 2 on the way.

Services will be held on Saturday March 20, 2021 at The Church at Meeker, 1032 Jennifer Drive, Meeker, Colorado at 10:00 a.m. Under the direction of Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary and Cremation Care.
