Helen N. Rollins was born March 18, 1939 in Beaver, Utah to Seldon and Delia Nowers and passed away peacefully at home on May 12, 2023.
She married her sweetheart Carlyle M. Rollins on July 15, 1958, and together had four children: Shane (Melinda); Curt (Anita); Nicole (Steve); and Chance (Paige) and extended family Linette Rollins. Presently she has 10 grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Helen was employed in her earlier years as an operator for the telephone company and then served as a security officer at various race track venues.
After relocating to Vernal in 1969 Helen enjoyed riding with the ladies of the Dinah Spurs and participating in their activities. She always had a love for horses and that can be documented by her ownership, training, participating and love of horse racing across the Western states.
As long as she was physically able you could see Helen at any and all activities, sports, dance recitals, or otherwise, of all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as this was her most favorite pastime. Her family was her greatest treasure.
Survived by children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and sister Peggy Mecham, sister-in-law Geraldine Haycock, and many nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers Gerald Nowers, Shorty Nowers and Bobby Nowers, and sisters Eileen Osborne and Margaret Jarvis, and granddaughter Falon Henriquez.
