Herb Snyder

December 3, 1941 - February 14, 2022

Herb Snyder age 80 passed away at his home after a long battle with cancer and the side effects of the treatments. Herb was born in Vernal. Utah to Herb and Perl Snyder, He is the youngest of 6.

Herb graduated from Uintah High School where he played football and basketball. He worked at many jobs while growing up; paperboy, dishwasher, fashion cleaners, oil field, then started Mr. S Clothing in Rangely, Colorado with his brother Sam. He was there 22 years and made many good friends. Upon selling the business he became an avid golfer. Herb served a term as County Commissioner. Then served many years on the board of the Uintah Water Conservancy.

Herb is preceded in death by his parents Herb and Pearl Snyder, sisters Mary Ruth Hamberlin, Jayne Manuel, Majorie Hamblin, brothers Sam Snyder, and Tom Snyder.

He is survived by his wife Naione, sister-in-law Bonnie Snyder, sister-in-law Leta (Arvid) Sullivan, brothers in law Dennis (Sharon) Shiner, Chad (Shasta) Shiner, and many nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
