Irma Kunz

Our earthly angel finally gained her wings.

Irmgard Maria Schendzielorz Kunz was born March 7, 1926 in Langenbielau Germany. She Married Max Charles Kunz on Nov 5, 1952 in Entwistle Canada. She died May 16, 2019 in Vernal Utah.

Irma grew up in Germany during WWII. She didn’t let her experiences and memories of that terrible time affect her. Irma met Max in Germany while he was serving in the US Army. She emigrated to Evansburg Canada in 1950. When Max completed his military service, they married. Irma was able to come to the US in 1953. With the help of friends, she gained her US citizenship in 1959. Irma was a member of the First Baptist Church. She loved the Lord with all her heart.

Irma was a friend to all. She loved all she met. She was a loving, amazing, giving, kind woman. Irma was the perfect example of unconditional love. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services for Irma will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the First Baptist Church at 3:00 P.M. With a Viewing from 2:00-2:45 PM. Burial will be at the Maeser Fairview Cemetery.
