Janene N. Meyer, mother and grandmother, peacefully passed away during the late afternoon hours on the 23rd of September, 2016 at her home in Dutch John, UT surrounded by family members and friends, bringing a close to a life of a mere 55 years. On the 28th of September, 1961, Salt Lake City Utah, a beautiful baby daughter was born to the goodly parents Nedwin and Donna Nielson who loved her so very dearly. Janene spent most of her childhood in Cedar City, Utah. Just before High School her family moved to Page, Arizona where she blossomed and become a Cheerleader and was active in the Drama Club, Choir, and Sports and enjoyed making new friends and cultivating those friendships. After High School and brief National Park Service career, she married her eternal companion Timothy Meyer on the 18th of January, 1986. Together they raised 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Janene enjoyed charity work and spent many hours serving others and touching lives. She was an accomplished writer and an incredible inspiration to everyone she met. But, she loved spending time with her family the most. Janene is survived by her husband, Timothy, three children; Charise Young (Maurice), Mathew Meyer (Holly), and Mark Meyer, and six grandchildren; Royce Young, Audrey Young, Dathan Young, Gabriel Young, Cassandra Young, and Annalise Meyer. She is also survived by her brothers, Andrew Nielson (Teresa), Michael Nielson (Pamela), her sister, Deborah Judd (Mark), and brother Jared Nielson. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday the 30th of September at the Dutch John, LDS Chapel ((6th Ave & South Blvd) Dutch John, UT. A viewing will be from 10-11 AM prior to the services.
