Janice Day

Our darling mother, wife and friend, Janice Colene Gilge Day, has gone to Heaven to be with her other family, friends and dogs. Her suffering ended at her home with her family on April 28, 2012. She was loved by many and will be missed so very much. Janice was born on April 24, 1942 in Warner, North Dakota to Theodore Tabius and Mae McAdoo Gilge. She married Dempsey Day and together they had 5 children. She loved to garden and tend to her flowers. Her husband, children and grandchildren have always been her pride and joy. Janice is survived by her husband; Dempsey, children; Jerome of Wamsutter, Wyoming, J.D. (Milissa) of Roosevelt, Utah, Troy of Republic, Washington, June (Chris) Corbett of Randlette, Utah, and Julia (Troy) Allred of Jensen, Utah, brothers; Donald (Sharon) Gilge, Harlin (Sandy) Gilge, Allan Gilge, Dale (Eleanor) Gilge, Richard Gilge, Keith (Vicki) Gilge, Evelyn (Jerome) Dinius, Janette (Royd) Fettig, and Betty (Daniel) Frank, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Ester and Joyce Lynn, and brothers; Colin and Wade. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vernal Memorial Park. A Viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 7-9 at the Vernal Mortuary. Services were entrusted to the care of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
