Jeanne Ann Rushing of Vernal, age 65, passed August 2nd, 2018 peacefully in her sleep, too soon.

She was born November 3rd, 1952 to Donald Rushing and Helen Lee in Ogden, Utah. She had wonderful childhood memories of Morgan, where she was raised with her sisters Pamela (husband Max) Redmond and Susan Ezell (husband Jack Carreon).

Jeanne divorced 4 times but, like she said; “We don’t have to talk about that!” She raised 3 children on her own: Landon Smith (wife Leigh); Amber Davis; and Desa (husband Jesse) Loughman. She also has 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Jeanne was an Angel Warrior who lived by the beat of her own drum—who loved nature, animals and all  God’s creations. She was inspirational, humorous, artistic, caring, generous, a creative gardener and wonderful mother! Words aren’t enough to describe her—it was the special feeling of her presence defines her best. Jeanne was special to each of us, with too many nick-names to list. She loved making people laugh, and those memories will comfort us. Jeanne had a work ethic unlike most; whether taking care of her aging mother, keeping her yard in pristine condition, or continually making top Sales Associate at Lowe-down-n-dirty. No matter what the task was, she gave it her all—until God put out his hand and she flew back home. May her love continue to guide us until we meet again, somewhere over the rainbow.

Jeanne is proceeded in death by her father, Donald Rushing; step-father, George Gerber; daughter, Amber Davis; niece, Destiny Ezell-Naylor and beloved pets that she knew would be waiting for her in heaven.

There will be a viewing Monday, August 6th from 3-5 PM at Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary, and a Tribute to Life Tuesday, August 7th at 10 AM at Vernal Memorial Park.
