Jonathan Michael Brady (Jon) passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on August 16th, 2017. Born in Vernal, UT on February 20th, 1984. His family soon moved to Las Vegas, NV and later to Manti, UT. After graduating high school, he returned to the Uintah basin to work in the oil field and raise his family. Jon made a home and touched the lives of those close to him wherever he was. To say that Jon loved the outdoors would be an understatement. Whether fishing, hiking, camping, or harvesting fire wood, to him being in the mountains was perfect, that is likely why he loved the Uintah Basin so much. Jon loved music, and played the piano, often sitting down to play a piece he had memorized as a child. He has always been mechanically inclined, he could and did take things apart, just to put them back together, better than new. His quizzical nature and innate abilities served him well, as he was a quick study and rarely needed long to learn new skills. Proceeded in death by his father Ford, Jon is survived by his wife Farrah and four children (Echo, Avery, Haley and Oliver), parents Dona (Bruce Russell), siblings Donald (Erin), Elizabeth, Galen, Katherine (Brady Patterson), brother-in-law Jacob Michie and five lovely nieces. His great big heart and exuberance will be missed by all who knew him. His sense of loyalty and ability to love are surpassed by few. Jon loved his family and he strove to be a good husband and father, he was an awesome brother and a wonderful son. Jon's humble faith in the Lord was made manifest to those closest to him, and we trust that he is now in good hands. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Ashley 2nd Ward Chapel (3040 North Vernal Ave).
