Juanita (Jennie) Garcia

Our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother passed away peacefully on November 21, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones. Juanita (Jennie) Garcia was born on October 2, 1930, in Canjilon New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband Ray and parents Emiliano and Onofre Montano, also by her brothers Emiliano, Ignacio, Gusman, Juan, Celerino, Bennie and her sisters Stella and Carmen. Of her siblings she is survived by her sister Della Ocana.  Jennie married Ray Garcia in 1949, together they had 7 children. She is survived by her children; Bette Teal, Fran Stagg (Derrell), Joeann Troendle, Mike Garcia and Nora Garcia. She was preceded in death by 2 children, an infant daughter Joeann and her son Charlie. Jennie loved her grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren; always wanting to visit with them rather it be on the phone or at her kitchen table. Losing 3 of her great-granddaughters Gladrial Johnson, Aislyn Johnson and Hailee Stagg was one of her biggest heartaches. We are sure she is happily reunited with her loved ones. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Our mom lived a full long life (90 years), she will be loved and missed; but we are happy that she gets to be joined with her loved ones. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday November 28, 2020 at 11 AM at the St. James Catholic Parrish. A Viewing will begin at 10 Am at the church.  

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at AFSP.org in hopes that no one will experience the loss that her and her family have.  In memory of Gladrial Shea Johnson.

At all services masks are mandatory.
