Julena Jane (Spaulding) Serfoss

Julena Jane (Spaulding) Serfoss age 39, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 25, 2014. She was welcomed into the next life by her father Steven James Spaulding and brother Ryan Zach Spaulding. Julena was born April 2, 1974 in Roosevelt, to Steven and Christine Oaks Spaulding. She married Joe Serfoss on April 17, 2004 in Vernal, Utah. Julena was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She loved collecting bears, cherished Teddys and Thomas Kinkade, she loved sunrise and sunsets, spending time with her family, And traveling to South Dakota. She was employed at Maverick in Naples at the time of her death. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Julena is survived by her greatest joy and accomplishment of her life, son Jacob Spaulding, of Vernal, Utah; Her best friend and husband Joe Serfoss of Vernal, Utah. Mother, Christine Spaulding of Vernal; brothers, Troy (Brandi) of Loma, CO; Kaleb (Tammy) of Vernal, Utah; niece Ashley Spaulding, Kaneohe, Hawaii; Kelton, Adalyn, Kagan of Loma, CO; Jesse James and Sterling (Stirfry) of Vernal. She was preceded in death by her father, Steven Spaulding; brother, Ryan Spaulding; grandparents, Wilbur & Ethel Oaks and Charles & Maurine Spaulding, Uncle Chuck Spaulding; cousin, Kirk and Cameron Spaulding. Julena will be deeply missed and will remain in our hearts forever, We love you Julena. May the Lord keep you, till we meet again. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Friends and family may call at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary, Wednesday evening from 6-8 and one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery, service have been entrusted to the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
