Our beloved Kathleen Adams Reynolds (“Kathy”) passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on March 29, 2024.
Born on November 17, 1938, to Vesta "Virginia" and Lawrence Adams, Kathy brought joy to everyone around her. Her bright spirit shone throughout her life, enriching the lives of family and friends.
Kathy found her forever love when she married Cal Dee Reynolds on March 27, 1958. Together, they built a life filled with laughter and unwavering love. Their enduring marriage served as a constant inspiration to their children, a testament to the strength and joy that come with true partnership.
Kathy's social butterfly nature ensured she was always surrounded by a loving circle. From her early days when she participated in a variety of activity clubs and social groups, to her active membership in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, she loved serving in many capacities and embraced every opportunity for connection.
Faith played a central role in Kathy's life, and her dedication to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was evident in her service in many callings including Young Women’s President and Relief Society president.
Kathy’s absolute greatest joy came from her family. She loved her children, and she reveled in her role as grandma and great-grandma, creating special memories through cherished traditions like egg-dying and sugar cookie baking.
Kathy is survived by her children: Kyle Dan Reynolds, Blakely Fred Reynolds (Scarlet), MeriKay Reynolds, and Alison Dudley (Morgan), grandchildren (10), great-grandchildren (6), sister Lylis Anderson, and brother Michael Adams.
Kathy is preceded in death by Cal Dee Reynolds (her forever sweetheart), their daughter Lani Reynolds, her parents Lawrence and Virginia Adams, her brother Lawrence Terrill Adams, and her sister Raema Adams Hatch.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 at 11 am at the Vernal 1st Ward Chapel (475 West 100 South) with viewings held Thursday, April 4th from 6-8 pm at the Blackburn Mortuary and Friday 1 hour prior to service at the Chapel.
