Kay Bullock, age 82, passed away peacefully February 1, 2016 at the Uintah Care Center. She was born to Rodney and Lula Schofield in Vernal, Utah on August 2, 1933. Kay married Don Bullock on November 18, 1950. Together they had four children, Ray Don, Kayleen, Jodette and Sherrie. Mom had a beautiful, extraordinary gift for playing the piano by ear. She has entertained countless amounts of people during her lifetime and has made just as many friends. She played with her band "Kay's Band" at the Senior citizen center on Friday nights as well as for the spaghetti dinners for the church for years. She drove the mail from Vernal to Manila for many years as well. She is survived by her daughter, Sherrie (Greg) Hackford; six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren all of Vernal; her four sisters, Marilyn Williams (Vernal), Deanna Hayes (Duchesne) Sherron Harder (Craig, CO). She was preceded in death by her parents, Rondey and Lula Schofield; husband, Don Bullock; daughters, Kayleen Bullock, Jodette Massey and son ray Don Bullock. Funeral service were conducted on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Rockpoint Chapel (2575 North 1500 West). A viewing for Family and friends will be at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM and at the chapel Thursday, one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Rockpoint Cemetery, under the direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
