Kenneth "Ken" Huber, age 80, of LaPoint passed away peacefully at home with family by his side May 25, 2014, on the ranch where he was born and raised. He was born August 19, 1933, to Frank and Ardith Neilson Huber. He married the love of his life, JoeAnn Shepard of Bridgeland, UT on November 3, 1956. Ken and JoeAnn worked side by side on their family ranch for his entire life where they raised their family. Sherrie (Terry) Searle, Vernal; Lynn (Wendy) Huber, LaPoint; Bart Huber, Bozeman, MT. Ken has six grandchildren; Morgan, Quintin, Lyndsy, Taylor, Kenny, and Alexa. He also has four great grandchildren. Ken was honest, and well known to be a man of his word. He enjoyed ranching, farming, and running his livestock on the mountain. He took great pride in his cattle, which was clearly evident when you noticed their condition. He loved watching sports and making friendly wagers with his daughter and grandson, Kenny. Ken is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Sister, Kathryn Walker; Brother, Glenn (Shirley) Huber; Sisters-in-law; MaryLou Huber, Daun DeJournette, Judy Shepard; and Brother-in-law, Billy (Sherry) Shepard. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, and brothers, Darrel and Lynn Huber. Brothers-in-law, Elroy walker and Joe Shepard. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the LaPoint chapel. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45, Thursday at the chapel. Burial will be in the LaPoint Cemetery.
