Kent LaMar Nielsen 69, formally of Duchesne Passed away November 19, 2019 in Lehi, Utah
He was born December 20, 1949 to Mark Amos and Amy Potter Nielsen
Kent graduated from Duchesne High School, Served as a missionary in the Southern California Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Kent was a cowboy through and through, who was taught to drive truck by his oldest brother Doug. He drove for over 25 years, when he retired from hearing loss. He was raised ‘up the canyon’ (Indian Canyon) as the middle of nine children. Kent loved the Lord and his family. His greatest gift was to put a smile on your face, no matter who you were. He also had a great affinity for horses and dogs. He and his first wife (Linda Deloros Stoedter) were remarried and then seal in the house of the Lord to their only child.
Thanks to a sister’s kidney donation, he met four additional Grandchildren.
Kent is preceded in death by his Wife Linda, parents, Brothers Clay, Mark and Robert.
Survived by: his son Kent Eyner (Tina Marie) of Lehi Grandchildren Olivia, Claire, Lucy, Timothy Kent, and Benjamin.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday November 25 at the Duchesne Stake Center. A viewing will be from 10:45-11:45 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Duchesne Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Blackburn & Sins Vernal Mortuary and Cremation Care.
