Leatrice Joy Hamblin

July 20, 1936- December 25, 2014 Leatrice Joy Scott Hamblin, age 78 passed away on December 25, 2014, at the Uintah Care Center. She was born July 20, 1936 to Lawrence and Thelma Gurr Scott. She worked at Basin Cleaners at a very young age to help care for her mother and siblings after her father passed away. She married the love of her life on March 14, 1958 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple and helped raise Harold 2 sons and 2 daughters. Together they had 2 more daughters. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings; Shirley Timothy, Georgia Sanchez, Gary Scott, Connie Haworth, and Boyd Scott. She is survived by her children, Richard (Dawn) Hamblin, Carla Bozzelli, dean (Jeanne) Hamblin, Judy Giles, Caleen (Joe) Reese, and Marie Hamblin, 30 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren. Sister Virginia (Jake) Trujilo, sister-in-law, Lois Scott, and brothers-in-law ralph Haworth and Albert Sanchez. Funeral Services will held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Friends and family may call at the Mortuary one hour prior to the services.
