Leon D Timothy

Leon D. Timothy, age 77 of Vernal, Utah passed away on November 14, 2018 at the Uintah Care Center. He was born August 1, 1941 in Roosevelt, Utah to Lavon and Ardelta (Maxfield) Timothy. He grew up in Bonanza, Utah. Then went to college at the University Of Utah. Where he got his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. He then started working for Motorola. He moved all around the states for work, he then retired in Mesa, Arizona. Shortly after retiring he moved back to the Basin.

He loved fishing, hunting, crafts, and he loved taking pictures. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. He loved watching his collection of old westerns and sci fi movies. He also enjoyed looking at his many catalogs that he would get. 

He is survived by his nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents Lavon and Ardelta (Maxfield) Timothy. Also his siblings Velma Richens, Kay Levon Timothy, Jayvar Timothy, and Dean Timothy. Also a Great Niece Lori Kay Bascom and Great Nephew Grant Levon Ralphs.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 20, 2018 at Blackburn Mortuary at 11 am and a viewing an hour before. Viewing Monday November 19, 2018 at 6pm to 8pm. The burial will be in the Vernal City Memorial Park. Under the direction of Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary
