Leona Jane Clark Richardson

Our devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Leona Jane Clark Richardson, age 78, died August 18, 2018 at her home in Vernal, Utah. She was born December 10, 1939 in Vernal, Utah to Howard Justice and Leona Mae White Clark. She married her sweetheart Larry D. Richardson on June 21, 1956 in Vernal, Utah. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Leona was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Leona and Larry served on a stake mission for their ward, she loved being in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, metal detecting, and supporting her grandchildren. Leona also enjoyed crocheting, crafts, quilting and scrap booking.

Survived by her husband; Larry D. Richardson; children, Lenny ( Brenda), Jimmy, Jan (Jeff) Weeks, Laurie (Dan) Skinner of Shelly, Idaho, Leland  (Stephanie) & Duane (Michelle) all of Vernal, Utah; brothers, Harold Henriod, James Oliver Clark, Earl Steve Clark and Kenneth Clark; sisters, Arlene W. Slaugh, Sandy Williams, Kathy Judd. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David J. Richardson; sisters, Darlene Benner and Alene Wahlin.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Jensen Cemetery (5200 South 9000 East). A viewing will be at the Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary from 10:00-11:00 prior to traveling to the Cemetery, Services are under the care and direction of the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary.
