Letha G. John

Letha G. "Badger" John passed away at her home Friday September 1, 2017 of medical complications. Badger was a truck driver for most of her life. Working countless hours in the oilfields around Southeast Wyoming. She loved everything about trucks, and could jam gears with the best of them. She was also a pilot car driver for heavy haul in Colorado allowing her to experience new scenery nearly every day. Her favorite part of life was her children. She always said "this is what family does" when hard times would hit the hardest. She is survived by four children. Caleb Ward (Sharleigh) of Grand Junction, CO, Letitia Wood (Levi) of Wamsutter, WY, Catania Dean (Aaron) of Alpena, AR, and Charity John-Lange of Vernal, UT. The lights of her life, her grand babies, Alexis, Kaeli, Kasey, Daisy, MaKaylie, Payton, Danielle, Tyler, Eliza, and soon-to-be Savannah. She also has five brothers. Daniel, Les, Samuel, Doyle, and Rodney John. And numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Myrtle John. Funeral services will be held at the Vernal 4th Ward (235 East 600 South) on Saturday September 9th, 2017 at 11:00 with a viewing prior to services. Under the direction of the Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary.
