Linda K. Cranford, age 70, was born on January 29, 1951, in Vernal, Utah to Arvel and Tina Oaks. She passed away on July 15, 2021, at the U of U in Salt Lake City, Utah. Linda graduated from Uintah High School and then attended college in Chandler, AZ. She worked as a cashier for several years. She had a passion for baking, and her final career was making doughnuts at Daylight Donuts. She enjoyed painting, camping, the outdoors, swimming, dancing, problem-solving, and music, but the biggest love she had was spending time with and making memories with her parents, children, grandchildren, and friends. She loved playing games with her children and friends, and even at the age of 70, she was quite the competitor, winning almost every game. She loved her visits with her mom and learning to crochet. She was excellent at math and never forgot a birthday. She loved and cared for her four-legged kids, Little Foot and Zeus. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Jack M. Cranford on October 2, 1971, and divorced in 1991. They had four children together. She later met her life partner, Richard Batty, who passed away in June 2020.
