Lorin Ward

Lorin Wilson Ward, 78 years old, died Monday December 30, 2024, at his home in Whiterocks, Utah. He was born October 24, 1946, in Van Nuys, California to Delbert Jones and Thora Wilson. 

He married Joyce Clawson on 27 August 1968, and Pam Schwartzwald on October 18, 2019. 

Lorin served in the army during the Vietnam War, running the radar. He then taught elementary school for close to 20 years. 

Lorin is survived by his siblings, Russell, Ray, Marvin, Janie, Wendy, and Timothy, second wife, Pam, his nine daughters, Stephanie Chvala, Barbara Chamberlin, Tamiann Parrott, Melanie Jensen, Camilla Thomson, Elizabeth Tyler, Miriam Ward, Adrianne Labrum, Jamilyn Ward, and son, Hyrum Ward. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Joyce Clawson, and his brother, Delbert Wilson. 

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 12 noon at the Whiterocks LDS Chapel (4817 E. 11500 N. Whiterocks, Utah)  with a viewing from 11:00 - 11:45 prior to service at the Chapel. Burial will be in the Haden Cemetery under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary..
