Louis Richard Tolbert

Louis Richard Tolbert, 68, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away doing what he loved while serving a Church Service Mission in Payson, Utah on a cattle ranch. He worked hard every day and was so happy to be healthy and serving. 

He loved growing his garden in Vernal, hauling wood from the mountain and spending time with his family.

He enjoyed serving in the Vernal Utah Temple and at the Uintah Care Center and loved the people there.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Hildred Tolbert, brothers Clark and Ray Tolbert, and grandson Jacen Chase (JC) Redd.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanie Tolbert, children, Teri Weimer, Jason Tolbert (Molly), Heidi VanHouten (Chris), Jerrad Tolbert (Codie), Jamie Nielson (Branton) and Sarah Anderson (Clayton), 26 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed and always remembered.  

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 5 , 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Ashley 1st Ward, (3040 N. Vernal Ave.)

Viewings will be Friday, January 4 from 6-8 pm and Saturday 11:30-12:45 prior to services all at the church.  Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery.
