Loyal William Greenhow, age 58, passed away on August 3, 2012 at his home in Vernal, Utah. He was born November 18, 1953 in Vernal, the only child of Thomas and Ruby Cook Greenhow. Loyal lived his life in Vernal on his grandfathers farm raising sheep. He was raised with his Uncle Bobby Cook who was his best friend and like brothers. We knoe they are together now laughing about good times. Loyal was also very close to his Aunt Lenis and Uncle Alvie Atwood. After his grandparents passed away, he would be found spending holidays around their table with the family. He is survived by his aunts; Lenis Atwood of Vernal and Afton (Albert) Bruchez of Hayden, Colorado, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents; Robert and Rosie Cook, uncles; Alvie Atwood, Bobby, Don, Lowel and Floyd Cook. Graveside services were held Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Vernal Memorial Park under the care and direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
